liver support
blood sugar management
During clinic this Saturday (3/11/26) we will show you another use for dandelions other than it providing the first little bit of food for bees.
In addition to giving you a little taste, we’ll provide instructions and information on how you can make your own at home!
Come try homemade dandelion jelly.
St. Patrick's Day Mocktails
Join us Saturday, March 14, 2025, for some St. Patrick’s Day fun!
We’re making herbal mocktails. 🍹
Last month we made fire cider. This month we’re going to make a mocktail with fire cider and tulsi basil.
Fire Cider Making Activity
Join us for a hands-on Fire Cider making activity led by herbalist Barbie Mully!
Fire Cider is a traditional herbal remedy made with apple cider vinegar, roots, herbs, and spices commonly used to support immune health and overall vitality. It is often used in herbalism as a daily tonic during cold and flu season to help warm the body, support digestion, and bolster the immune system.
During this drop-in activity, participants will learn which herbs and spices are commonly used in Fire Cider and how to prepare this remedy at home. All materials to create the base of the Fire Cider will be provided, and participants will leave with their own jar to take home. The mixture will macerate for about 4–6 weeks before being strained, and honey can be added afterward to taste if desired (some folks enjoy it just as is!).
This is a community-centered activity offered alongside our donation-based herbal clinic on February 14 from 11–3. The activity will be available during the clinic and will wrap up once supplies run out.
Herbal Clinic
January Clinic
We are so excited to welcome the community back for our first clinic of 2026.
Wild Roots People’s Clinic offers donation-based herbal care for anyone in need of support. Our clinics are open to all, and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds.
What to Expect
During your visit, you will meet one-on-one with an experienced herbalist who will take time to truly listen to your concerns. Together, you will explore holistic, plant-based ways to support your wellbeing.
Each client receives:
A private consultation with a trained herbalist
Space to share concerns around physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing
A personalized herbal formula such as a tea or tincture
Guidance on how to use your herbs safely at home
People often come to clinic for support with stress, anxiety, sleep, digestion, hormone balance, grief, and overall wellness.
Our Model: Donation-Based Care
Our clinics are offered on a donation-based model. This means you choose what you are able to give, and care is still provided regardless of your ability to pay. Your donation helps us continue offering accessible care to the community.
Planning Ahead
If you are a returning client and need a refill of your herbal formula, we encourage you to submit a refill form ahead of time so we can have your herbs prepared.

Giving Tuesday 2025
This Giving Tuesday, join us in growing community care through herbalism. 🌿
Wild Roots People’s Clinic provides donation-based herbal wellness care in Omaha, offering one-on-one consultations and custom herbal formulas to anyone seeking support—no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Our work is sustained entirely by generosity, volunteer power, and community love.
Every contribution helps us keep care accessible, restock herbs and supplies, and support the next generation of community herbalists through our Apprenticeship Program. Together, we can make sure that holistic, culturally rooted care remains available to all who need it.
This year alone, we provided $17,980 worth of herbal medicines to our neighbors. And it takes about $2,000 to host just one clinic.
Giving Tuesday is near and we need your support to keep this work going.
If you’re able to give, your contribution at any level keeps our clinic open and our shelves stocked:
$10 provides a month of tea for a neighbor
$20 covers one tincture
$50 helps stock our apothecary
$175 reflects the true cost of a clinic visit
$500+ keeps our doors open for one month
👉 Make your Giving Tuesday gift here:
https://shareomaha.org/nonprofit/wild-roots-peoples-clinic
And even if you aren’t able to give tomorrow, you can still make a meaningful impact. Please share our Giving Tuesday link with your friends, family, and networks.
Your voice helps us reach the people who can help keep this work alive.
Thank you for believing in community driven herbal care and for helping us show up for our neighbors who need it most.
